A proud graduate of Kent State University, Tierra earned a degree in Journalism and Digital Media Production, setting the foundation for a career focused on creating purposeful, community-centered content.

Before joining EMC Communications, Tierra worked as a Social Media Consultant and Influencer Strategist at JOANN Stores, where she led digital campaigns with a focus on diverse storytelling and multicultural representation. Through campaigns like Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Hispanic Heritage Month, Tierra developed strategies that celebrated cultural moments while reinforcing broader values of inclusivity and cultural awareness in digital storytelling.

Tierra’s approach to digital strategy is rooted in the belief that diverse representation is essential for meaningful connection and transformation. Whether working to craft clear messaging or driving an organization’s voice across digital platforms, Tierra is dedicated to bringing each client’s vision to life and ensuring their digital presence authentically represents their mission.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Tierra enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and teaching yoga in her community. On weekends, she can often be found nose-deep in a good book, constantly seeking new sources of inspiration to bring into her work.
