Erin Musgrave founded EMC Communications in 2016 with a desire to make a real impact.

Erin has led communications campaigns that change the narrative, promote her clients, and drive the conversation forward on topics including gender and racial justice, economic equality, the future of work, and more.

Erin draws on her deep understanding of the media and years of experience in strategic communications to benefit the firm’s clients.

Prior to launching EMC Communications, Erin was an award-winning journalist, working as a reporter and editor for daily newspapers throughout California and as publisher and editor-in-chief of an alt-weekly newspaper that she built from the ground up. She went on to lead marketing and communications at private sector businesses and a national small business advocacy organization. 

Erin and her partner live in Central California with a gaggle of children and animals that keep her life incredibly full…and slightly chaotic.
