Sankalp (San) Sharma is a recent graduate of California State University, Sacramento, where he majored in public relations, earning Cum Laude honors. During his time in college, San was elected national president of the Public Relations Student Society of America and led the organization of over 8,000 students with over 315 chapters.  

Before joining EMC Communications, San worked at FINN Partners, a global public relations and marketing firm, where his main focus was education and advocacy. San developed a love for politics while working for the California Department of Social Services, where, as a Student Assistant, he worked in communications for Civil Court cases.

Outside of work, you can usually find San relaxing in a coffee shop, being in nature, and catching up on his favorite sports. San stays involved in his community and has written two books that raise awareness about social injustices and inequalities, donating the revenue to charity.
