Cat has more than a decade of experience in national and statewide advocacy communications, with expertise in driving campaigns to generate media coverage and mobilize digital advocacy. At EMC Communications, she helps clients execute winning communications strategies and advance their policy priorities. 

Prior to joining EMC Communications, Cat managed advocacy communications for the American Veterinary Medical Association, where she secured widespread media coverage and grassroots action on student debt, access to rural veterinary care and other issues affecting veterinary medicine. Cat previously worked at Small Business Majority, where she supported the organization’s campaigns on minimum wage, LGBT nondiscrimination and more. Cat began her career at APCO Worldwide, a global public relations firm. 

After a decade in Washington, D.C., she now lives in Philadelphia with her wife and their two large dogs
